Object Schema (Fields)

Fields define the structure of your Object.

1. Common field types

From the UI behavior, fields can represent:

• Text

• Number

• Date

• Boolean

• Lookup (a reference to another Object)

2. Adding fields

From the Object Details page:

• choose Create Input to add a field

• choose Create Bulk Inputs to add multiple fields

These actions usually require:

• you hold the lock

• the version is writable (not a release)

3. Editing fields

Select a field row and choose Edit Input.

4. Removing fields

Select one or more fields and choose Remove Input.

Some fields may not be removable or selectable depending on their role (for example, system/audit fields, partition fields, or asset fields). The UI may restrict selection automatically.
